will i would like to know when the fun starts . we went sailing today moderate wind calm . well i have a problem with the rudder i like going in circles not good on a boat can't figure out what i did wrong maybe a little heavy on steering. but that was the least of it one of the side stays snapped and we thought the mast was going i did all the right things bert took the rudder and i went up to see what happened the turnbuckles came loss so bert and i were changing places when the boom swung as i was ducking but i didn't duck fast enough and now i know why its called a boom blood all over the deck and me but i stayed calm just glad i wasn't it the sea bert got a rag and asked if i was ok said yes and that i could hold the boat in the wind until he fixed the problem very brave of me with blood all over the place. we got the problem fixed and then was able to get back to the harbor. i cleaned up blood all over my legs and face and walked home annouced myself as injuryed kate said it looked like a mosquite bite i checked the mirror and she was right but i am swollen and will probably get a black eye. someday it maybe fun but when is the big question.
